I am a Creative Writing Student at Curtis Brown Creative and the Golden Egg Academy. I’m working on an upper middle grade (9-12) speculative fantasy novel, a Young Adult (YA) thriller and an adult fiction novel in short stories. The topics close to my heart are creativity, art repatriation and multi continental family dynamics. I also occasionally write poetry.

Tutoring Experience

I volunteer as a writing mentor at Ministry of Stories, a charity in East London dedicated to helping children develop writing skills. A previous student I tutored went on to win first place at the Hastings Week Poetry Competition in 2022 primary school category.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is to bring a child's interests into their writing and bust myths about what being a writer means. I adapt to children's writing style and ability, providing modelled writing tools, free writing concepts, building fiction from memory and editing using three improvements at a time.
