Hello! I'm Mediha, and would love to be your child's Math tutor. With a degree in Mathematics, a passion for teaching, and past experience of teaching various children from all levels, I will bring both knowledge and enthusiasm to every tutoring session.
I believe that a strong foundation in mathematics can open doors to many opportunities, and I'm committed to supporting your child in achieving your academic goals. Let's work together to make math a subject they can feel confident and excited about!

Tutoring Experience

I have experience tutoring secondary school students in various mathematic areas, from algebra and geometry to calculus. My goal is to make complex concepts clear and engaging, build confidence and tailor my approach to each student's unique needs and learning style.

In addition to secondary school tutoring, I also teach primary school children helping them excel and become more familiar with basic concepts allowing them to better at school.

I also specialise in preparing primary school students for the 11+ exams. I understand the importance of these exams in shaping a student's educational journey and am dedicated to providing targeted support to ensure they are well-prepared and confident. I am aware of the competition around and importance of ensuring your child is best prepared for these exams. Having experience in preparing children for both GL and CEM boards, I am here to help your child achieve their best.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that every student has the potential to excel in math with the right support and guidance. To provide that I start by understanding each student’s unique strengths and areas for improvement. This allows me to tailor lessons to their specific needs, ensuring that we focus on the topics that will have the most impact.
I break down complex concepts into simpler, more manageable parts. My goal is to make difficult topics easier to understand, using relatable examples and step-by-step explanations.
Learning should be interactive and engaging. I encourage students to ask questions, explore problems, and think critically. By fostering a curious and active learning environment, I help students build confidence and develop a deeper understanding of the material.
I understand that math can sometimes be intimidating. I work to build students’ confidence by celebrating their successes and providing constructive feedback. My aim is to make math a subject they feel comfortable and excited about.

I provide a lot pf exam preparation for both 11+ Exams, SATs and GCSEs. I offer targeted practice and strategies to help them perform their best. I focus on familiarizing them with the exam format and enhancing their problem-solving skills.
