Michael

Born and brought up in Pembrokeshire, I Graduated with B.A. (Hons) II(2) in French and German from the University of Hull in 1979. After graduating I worked in banking for five years then took my Postgraduate Certificate In Education (P.G.C.E.) in Modern Languages and English at Swansea University in 1985. I also hold the Membership Diploma of the Chartered Institute Of Linguists (M.C.I.L.).

Tutoring Experience

After achieving Qualified Teacher Status I taught French (Key Stage 3) and German (Key Stage 3, G.C.S.E, A.S. and A-Level) to all abilities at Secondary level from 1985 to 2008 and was Head of German for approximately 10 years before taking early retirement. I have been tutoring in French, German and Music (piano / keyboard / theory) throughout my teaching career and since taking early retirement. I have also taught adult classes in French and German for the local authority and privately.
