Hi im Michael. I have a passionate interest in history, particularly in medieval history and topics like the Byzantine empire! My interest in History started at GCSE where i got an 8, followed by an A at A level. I then went on to study history at the University of East Anglia where i graduated with a 2.1. I then moved on to edinburgh to attain my masters degree where i achieved a merit.
I do not have any formal teaching experience as i am still young however i am very knowledgeable of the current curriculum and expectations at school.
My main approach is to pick apart the aspects of history to help the students fundamentally understand why events take place. I also help students get use to using evidence to support their arguments as this pivotal in writing a historical essay.
