Tutoring Experience

I'm a former primary school teacher with over 10 years teaching experience. My time as a classroom teacher was characterised by my ability to create a fun, dynamic and engaging learning environment for all of my students. During an Ofsted inspection I was graded Outstanding for a poetry lesson I had planned and delivered. The Ofsted inspector was particularly impressed with the VAK (Visual, Auditory, Kinaesthetic) techniques I employed in order to appeal to the different learning styles of my students.

Currently I'm an online tutor for primary aged children with 6 years tutoring experience. I specialise in creative writing and reading comprehension through one to one and small group sessions. I am dedicated to fostering a love of language and literature in every student I encounter.
