I am an experienced English teacher and current KS3 lead. I teach Year 7 - 11 and have experience of teaching both A Level English Language and Literature. I live rurally and love living in the countryside where I walk my labrador.

Tutoring Experience

I teach English across KS3, KS4 and A Level and am in my 18th year of teaching. I am familiar with Eduqas specifications but have also taught AQA and Cambridge IGCSE in the past. I also teach Media at GCSE.

Tutoring Approach

I am patient teacher and believe that learning should be individualised. It is important that indivual learning needs are recognised and valued. I am passionate about my subject and love teaching English. English is so much more than literature and I believe that reading and writing have a valuable place in society.
