My name is Milly, lecturer atRemoved where I teach A level Media Studies and BTEC Level 2 and UAL Level 3 Creative Media Production.
Whether you're looking to improve your A level Media exam grade, brush up on your theory, guidance with your coursework or improve your practical production, I'm here to help you gain the grades you deserve.

I am also offering support and guidance with BTEC/UAL assignments and practical assessments. I can also give support with UCAS, personal statements and CV work.

I am currently also tutoring 6-16 years English also for Secondary level learners to improve English and Literacy skills ready for GCSE level.

I am also available to tutor Maths, English and Science at KS1, KS2, KS3 also along with ISEB Entrance Exams and CEM (Durham University) Entrance Exams. (13+ and 11+)

Tutoring Experience

I have been a Media lecturer at RemovedCollege since April 2014. Here I teach A level Media Studies and BTEC Level 2 and Level 3 Creative Media Production.
For the past eight years I have been tutoring 6-16 years English to Primary and Secondary level learners to improve English, Literacy and Maths skills ready for their GCSE years. I am also available to tutor Maths, English and Science at KS1, KS2, KS3 and GCSE also.

I have also successfully tutored ISEB Entrance Exams and CEM (Durham University) Entrance Exams. (13+ and 11+) in the Derbyshire and Birmingham area.

Tutoring Approach

I have a fun and approachable attitude to tutoring. I have gained a good rapport with all my students over the past few years by using a range of fun and innovative teaching techniques. I have access to previous papers and model exam answers, and ensure that I am clued up on exam specifications and changes.

I like to mind-map various themes and ideas in the students' first session, and always make sure that the ideas stem from the student's own work and thinking - so that they can remember it more fully and develop it in future (often students have more knowledge, ideas and insight than they realise).

I can tutor BTEC/UAL assignments, written and practical as well as A level coursework and examination preparation. I am flexible about when I can tutor, to work round the schedule of others.
