With four decades of experience in British education, including senior leadership roles across both the state and independent sectors, I offer specialist one-to-one tuition for children preparing to enter the UK’s most competitive independent and grammar schools via the 4+, 7+ and 11+ entrance exams.
I currently teach part time at a leading independent school in the West Midlands, where pupils have secured offers from prestigious institutions such as Eton and Rugby.
My background includes headship at a London primary school and the role of Deputy Head at a highly sought after independent school in Dulwich, London. This breadth of experience gives me deep insight into how selective schools assess, what they value in prospective pupils, and how to prepare children in a way that is developmentally sound, academically rigorous, and emotionally supportive.
I successfully tutored and supported my highly gifted and talented daughter through the competitive grammar school system which culminated with her being awarded a place at Oxford University which she graduated from in 2023.

During my Headship, I was appointed as a member of a national advisory board set up by the British government to support the implementation and teaching of Personal, Social and Health Education in English schools.
I am skilled and successful teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage, Primary Maths and English, and competitive entrance exams including the 4+, 7+ and 11+ examinations, with 4 decades of experience and expertise.
My pupils improve their assessment scores, increase their self esteem and confidence, as well as develop a love of books, reading and learning in general.
