Highly Recommended Spanish Teacher!

My daughter has made remarkable progress in Spanish thanks to Miriam. She is incredibly dedicated, organized, and supportive, creating a learning environment that is both effective and enjoyable. Miriam’s ability to engage my daughter and build a strong rapport has been key to her success.

Her teaching approach is tailored, professional, and motivating. She has ensured that my daughter not only understands the material but also gains confidence in her abilities. Additionally, Miriam has provided invaluable material that has greatly contributed to my daughter’s progress. Communication has always been clear, and Miriam consistently goes above and beyond to support my daughter’s success.

Miriam has been an excellent Spanish tutor for my daughter. She has helped her gain in confidence in all aspects of the language and has helped her to love the subject. She has now progressed to taking it at A level, having received an excellent grade at GCSE.
Miriam is organized and communicates well with both the student and the parents. I can't recommend her more highly.

Miriam has done an excellent job with Luca. She has taken him from getting 2s in successive Spanish GCSE mocks to a 5 in his most recent mock over the course of one term only. She is very enthusiastic and conscientious tutor who has also worked flexibly with us over lesson timings.

Miriam is a complete professional. She started tutoring my daughter 6 weeks before GCSE. Her knowledge of teaching GCSE allowed her to target the lessons very precisely to what was required for her papers. She connected with her very quickly through the online lessons. My daughter had a good base of knowledge, but Miriam brought it up to the surface. She quickly gained confidence in speaking and understanding. I expect her result will be two grades higher as a result. I can highly recommend Miriam and we were very lucky to find her.

I couldn’t recommend Miriam enough, the Spanish language equivalent of a horse whisperer. Or son was struggling in his final year of GSCE and within a term her support enabled him to ace his mock exam.

Miriam teaches my 2 daughters for online tutoring, she has really helped my eldest with gearing up for GSCE languages and she has chosen to take Spanish as an MFL, in part due to her lessons with Miriam.

Miriam is extraordinarily committed to her students. She celebrates my sons spanish successes and launches herself at his weaknesses! With four parts of the Spanish exam to work on, she knows it’s difficult to get all of them right at the same time. I wasn’t sure online learning would work as well as in person learning - but Miriam is an excellent teacher on zoom! The GCSEs are in the summer and my son is feeling more confident now as we head towards them. And confidence is half the battle!

Miriam is extremely well prepared, caring and always wants the best for her students! She has helped and supported our son during his A-level preparation. Miriam can be exam focussed, if this is what is needed, and has achieved great results for my son who has been able to improve significantly his Spanish grades. Miriam tutored my son A Level Spanish. He really liked her teaching style and found the lessons very helpful. We have been absolutely delighted with the excellent tutoring our daughter has received from Miriam for her A level. Not only has Miriam impressed us in terms of the levels of improvement made over the last year, but also how she has engaged and encouraged our daughter in her enjoyment of the course. Miriam is friendly and approachable and we would recommend her wholeheartedly.

Miriam is simply a fantastic tutor! She is extremley knowledgable and engaging and knows how to get a best out of her students. We have only reached out to Miriam as a last minute resort to help my son to improve his Spanish grades for his GCSEs as they were quite inconsistent. She has helped him to do this in a record time and only after a fee lessons his confidence has improved massively. I would strongly recommend Miriam as a tutor any time!

Miriam is an excellent teacher. She has been helping my son to prepare for his Spanish GCSE. He achieved a grade 9 in his recent mock exam after working at a much lower level before starting her lessons. Miriam really knows how to motivate teenagers and how to achieve high marks. My son has also gained so much confidence by working with Miriam and really enjoys learning Spanish.

Miriam is a really strong tutor. She is prepared every week with a lesson plan and we do a fair bit of conversational work outside the stated lesson to prepare for my intended trip to Spain. She prepares a power point lesson each week and then I receive it after the lesson so I can review again, this really helps me. She has also taken feedback on the way I learn, and incorporated that some additional learning/homework outside our sessions.
I highly recommend Miriam for any level of Spanish, but I can specifically speak to beginner level.

I reached out to Miriam for support with my A-level Spanish. Upon first reaching out to Miriam she asked me a handful of questions about myself and the support I was looking for, not only did this help us understand whether she would be the best tutor for me but it meant that in our first session we could get straight to work and not waste time getting to know each other as we already knew everything we needed to. In our first session Miriam had already prepared a variety and an extensive amount of work perfectly tailored to the areas and topics I was requiring support with she also gave me homework which allowed me to further gain support on these topics. Whilst having an extremely busy schedule Miriam was still able to fit me in the same week I reached out to her. Lessons are not only extremely educational but they are helpful, as well as interactive and most importantly fun and interesting. Having only been having lessons with Miriam for less than a month I have already seen improvement in my work. Miriam is constantly available for when I need her help and support and it is evident that she works extremely hard behind the scenes to best support me. I couldn't be happier with everything that Miriam has done to help me and everything she continues to do to help me with my Spanish.
