Tutoring Experience

For 7 years I have tutored KS3 and GCSE maths and sciences and for 5 years I have tutored A level maths, biology and chemistry. For 7 years, I have tutored children in preparation for 11+ exams. They all achieved places at competitive independent schools. I am experienced with the new specifications and understand the greater level of detail and application that is now required in candidates.

Tutoring Approach

My lessons are structured around gaining a full appreciation of each concept. Repetition is key to learning. Just as with any skill in life, the key to mastering a topic is repetition. This is done in multiple ways including practice questions, past paper questions and testing students' understanding of learning aims.
