I am a qualified teacher and Phase Lead living in the Hammersmith area, currently working in an outstanding primary school. I love working with children to get the best out of them. Outside work, I love dogs, running and enjoying the outdoors.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a teacher for the past 9 years. I currently teach Year 5, but lead Year 5 and 6. I have previous experience teaching Year 3 and 6, with extensive experience in preparing children for SATs examinations. In the previous year, my class were top in London for the numbers reaching Greater Depth in Maths; across all areas, the results were consistently well above national average.

Tutoring Approach

I have a consistently kind but ambitious approach. I believe in the potential of every child to achieve highly, and adapt my approach to suit the needs of the individual. Building a strong, positive relationship and ensuring the lessons are engaging and at an appropriate level of challenge is essential to this success.
