Muhammad Haider

I am a Ph.D. Physics candidate at the State University of New York since 2020, specializing in Particle Physics and Cosmology. As a Teaching Assistant, I teach 100+ undergraduate students every semester, alongside doing my own studies and research.

I attended Stanford University for MS Applied Physics from 2018 to 2020 where I conducted research in Experimental Particle Physics. I worked at SLAC laboratory with my master's thesis supervisor in search of Dark Matter.

I earned a 1st Class Hons BSc Maths and Physics degree from King's College London in 2018. I graduated at the top of my class. My final year project was on Cosmological Inflation.

I went to Aitchison College Lahore (one of the top schools in South Asia) for my A-Levels and scored 5A* (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, and Urdu). I scored 8A* in O-Levels (equivalent to GCSEs). I had perfect scores in American SAT Subject Tests (2400/2400) and Advanced Placement (5/5) in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths II, and Physics B and Calculus AB, respectively.

Tutoring Experience

I have been doing professional tutoring since 2014 (informal tutoring dates back to 2009). I have taught GCSE/A-Level/IB/Degree science and maths students across different boards. I have 2000+ hours of online teaching experience.

Tutoring Approach

I use One by Wacom writing tablet and Zoom/Skype screen-sharing to conduct my lessons online. Lesson notes are uploaded in a shared Dropbox folder. My lessons are engaging and interactive.
