I am currently a second year medical student at the University of Manchester. Having achieved straight A's in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics at A-Level, I am very familiar with the current syllabus taught to students. I am also able to aid students in their medicine application, whether it be personal statements, UCAT examinations or interviews, having achieved four offers to study Medicine.
I have over 4 years experience in teaching students surpass their academic goals. In my gap year, I was able to teach students of varying ages and levels of understanding at a tuition centre as well as independently. Furthermore, my volunteering experience at numerous care homes allowed me to gain skills in communicating with different people from various different backgrounds and ethnicities.
I would be teaching and helping the student understand the content for the first half of the lesson and then for the second half, attempt some questions together to assess their knowledge. At the end, I would leave them with homework to solidify what they have learnt and to highlight any areas for improvement in understanding.
