I’m a patient, reliable tutor with an enthusiasm for learning and teaching others. I achieved 9 Grade 9s and 2 Grade 8s at GCSE. At A level, I achieved grades A*A*A in History, Product Design and Philosophy respectively. I am currently studying History at Worcester College, University of Oxford, predicted a 1:1 and graduating in 2027. In Sixth Form, I was a senior prefect at the prestigious Wilson’s School, which was the Times’ “Secondary School of the Year” in 2024. Further back in my school career, I achieved top marks in the Bexley exams and Wallington 11+ tests, and was also offered a 15% academic scholarship at Trinity following a strong performance in their entrance exams. I am friendly and approachable and in my sessions I urge my students to develop a disciplined approach to learning.

Tutoring Experience

I’ve tutored for over two years, both as a part of a 1-1 mentor scheme within my school helping to prepare children in the community for the 11+ and as a private tutor for GCSEs. I also have an Enhanced DBS Certification, evidence for which can be provided upon request.

Tutoring Approach

I am friendly and approachable and in my sessions I urge my students to develop a disciplined approach to learning. More specifically, I take a hands-on approach with my students, taking the time to ensure that they fully understand the content they're being taught, and making sure that they can answer questions surrounding the content we go through even when I am not around to assist. I also hold revision lessons, which aim to revisit previously-learned topics and keep them fresh in my pupils' minds. My aim is to help cultivate the best possible learning and revision practices with my students, preparing them to do well both in their upcoming tests and the rest of their time in education.
