Nabihah

I am currently a medical student studying at Barts and the London SMD and am passionate about helping students of all ages to improve in their academic studies. I am confident from my successes at GCSE/A Level that my skills and strong desire to help students achieve their goals will go a long way in providing high-quality tuition. I have the necessary experience and grades to be a great source of help for the students trying to reach those high grades.

Tutoring Experience

I have extensive tutoring experience in a variety of fields. I have tutored in Chemistry, Biology, Latin and English for students of ages ranging from as young as 8 to 17. I have helped students learn to analyse literature, write essays, understand scientific theories and translate passages, but most importantly I have helped students get the top grades for their exams.

Having successfully entered a grammar school myself I am well equipped, both from personal experience and my abundance of resources, to help those who intend to take the 11+ exam, particularly for the verbal and non-verbal sections. I also have experience in training students to get into medical school through supporting personal statement, BMAT, UCAT, and interview preparation.

Tutoring Approach

I aim to devise lesson plans that are unique to each individual’s preferred learning methods and encourage them to go beyond the classroom, as that is how the top grades are obtained.

I will also ensure that students are given homework to consolidate what they have learned during our sessions.
