Naomi

Bonjour! I'm Naomi, a dedicated and enthusiastic French and Spanish teacher currently working in a secondary school. My journey in language education began with a Bachelor's degree in French Foreign Teaching from the University of Geneva in 2019. Since then, I have been on an exciting path, teaching a wide range of students and continually expanding my own linguistic horizons. I am passionate about learning new languages and sharing this passion with my students.

Tutoring Experience

I bring a diverse and rich teaching background to my tutoring sessions. I earned my PGCE and QTS in 2021, which has equipped me with the skills to teach effectively across various educational settings. My experience includes:

Teaching preschool children at a Saturday French school.
Instructing university students in Japan and in Geneva, focusing on migrants striving to re-enter the academic system.
Working as a secondary school teacher in a state school, teaching students from KS3 to KS5.
My versatile experience enables me to understand and cater to the unique needs of each student, whether they are young children, teenagers, or adults.

I tailor my lessons to each student's needs, whether you prefer interactive, fun sessions or a more formal approach. I incorporate authentic resources like songs and newspaper articles to make learning engaging and relevant.
