I am an enthusiastic, cheery individual who offers bespoke tutoring in history. My passion for history extends outside of tutoring as I enjoy visiting and volunteering at museums and galleries in my spare time. I also love to cook, run and paint.
I work full time in the arts and therefore, I am only available to a limited number of students in order to offer them the best service.
I read History at university and graduated with a 2:1; specialising in crime in London at the end of the 19th Century. I have tutored since the age of 17 and have also done a dissertation in Art History (which I was awarded a distinction for).
I believe in a friendly, paitent approach when tutoring and I use a variety of working styles and methods to engage my students. I welcome lots of questions and I like to get know my students personally, and for them to know me.
My lessons mainly consist of planning and structuring essay answers on exam papers for GCSE and learning content using a range of materials and media in the years leading up to GCSE.
