Neil is a highly skilled and patient tutor. Neil tutored my son in Maths, in a short timeline Neil elevated his abilities in numeracy and as a result we saw improvement in his grades. If we had a little longer I am sure we would have improved further. I would recommend Neil as he is invested in the sucess of your child.

Neil has been excellent at tutoring my daughter for her A Level maths. She is a year 2 A level student and her confidence in the subject has grown significantly in the time that Neil has been tutoring. Unfortunately, we will never truly know what impact it would have had on her grade as this crisis has cancelled all official testing but I am confident that she would have made significant progress. Neil was quick to offer online tutoring for my daughter, but with the cancellation of all exams, we did not need to take him up on his offer. Without a doubt, if the situation changes at all, we will be back in touch with him. Thank you Neil for being so patient and understanding and I wish you well.

Neil was both professional and friendly and was totally approachable. His teaching was impeccable and my son thoroughly enjoyed his sessions with Him… He obtained a high level grade 7. From the moment we got in touch we took to Neil. He initially phoned for a chat to find out more about our daughter's situation. We arranged a first lesson and found Neil very sensitive to our daughter's needs and with a great sense of humour.

Neil has been and still is a brilliant tutor for the IB HL Maths course. He always prepares fully for any session and is willing to put in as much time as is needed. He has been instrumental in helping me fully get to grips with the trickiest parts of the syllabus, and is willing to explain things in many different ways to find the one which will best help me understand. After just a few months of tutoring, my Maths level has gone up from a 5 to a 6, with a level 7 now being a realistic hope, and Neil’s help has definitely been the biggest factor in this! I can confidently say that Neil is able to significantly help anyone studying any level of maths at school or sixth form, no matter the course, as he has shown in his approach to tutoring IB HL Maths.

We have nothing but praise and thanks to Neil for all his expertise, knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject of Maths. Neil quickly established a good rapport with my son and gave him back his confidence and belief after being badly let down by his school in his most crucial year of study for GCSE. His lessons were always on time, he was very accommodating, fitting in extra sessions when required, and his lessons flew by. He has a very calm and gentle manner about him, and engaged my son covering a multitude of topics. He was able to break down the various elements of questions and calculations, explaining them from different perspectives, in a simpler way, to help the student digest the information and grasp concepts. Neil is a lovely tutor and was very friendly. He struggled with tuition for my primary school aged daughter. Neil seems to have a skillset for a much older child.
He was honest at the end of the session to say he didn't feel suitable and would rather not continue teaching my daughter.
It is hard to give a score since we only had the one session with Neil but I imagine 11+ students may benefit more from Neils' teaching methods than a child at the lower age of primary.

Very attentive tutor, helps thoroughly with learning how to solve maths problems and goes through the key points to solving exam paper questions. Is always on time and teaches to help you learn and understand maths. Would recommend to everyone, I've had many maths teachers who cant teach and can only show how to solve things or the other way around but Neil is the first maths teacher I've met who can do both! I've gotten an A with his help and am on my way to do architecture in London! Thanks Neil.

Neil was brilliant for my daughter who needed a confidence boost after her GCSE mock result in January. His patient and calm approach worked wonders and she ended up getting a level 9 in the real exam in June. Thank you Neil

Neil is probably the best Maths tutor you will find. My son needed help with GCSE Maths, a bit late in the day, as - to quote Neil - 'Tom is good at maths, he just doesn't know a lot of maths.'. He developed an immediate rapport with my son, to the extent that Tom looked forwards to the lessons, even after a day at school. After one particular lesson, he came out and said - ''I'm like a sponge - I'm literally absorbing maths. He's absolutely brilliant (why didn't we use him earlier)''.
Needless to say, in the GCSEs, Tom jumped 2 grades from his mocks to an 8.
Neil is also a true gentleman, and it was always a pleasure to chat with him.

Neil was an excellent tutor and someone that I found it very easy to work with and extremely helpful. It is fair to say that I bombarded him with questions and he always led me to understand the solution and see some difficult maths in a simpler light. i cannot praise neill enough. he is punctual, professional and very skilled, my son is presently completing his A'levels in maths. mr, has given him valuable skills and knowledge in a number of key areas. my son has noted that mr. does not tell you the answers, rather he encourages you to search for the answers yourself. if a concept seems to be baffling my son mr will breakdown the concept and thoroughly explain the concept.my son feels he has gained invaluable information during his lessons with mr. .

Our Son has only been tutored by Neil for a short time, but we have already sensed an increase in confidence and general progression in his maths.
