I am an experienced Maths tutor with more than 5 years of private one to one tutoring experience. I have a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry and working in Finance.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring since 2014 when I started my university degree. I have taught students who have a wide range of learning capabilities from KS1 upto GCSE level from working at Explore Learning Ltd.
In more recent years I have focused on teaching KS3,KS4 and GCSE Maths.

Tutoring Approach

I cover the topics as per the specifications mentioned in the respective exam boards ( AQA, OCR, Edexcel).
I tailor my teaching methods depending on student's ability and skills. In the first lesson, I will have the student do a couple of questions from each topic to understand areas that need improvement. There on subsequent classes I will tailor the classes to ensure emphasis is put on problematic areas as well as practising questions in familiar areas.

Homework is focused on topic related exam style questions which is provided at the end of the lesson to encourage revision.

Mock exam classes will be set closer to exam to ensure student gets lots of practise. Also covering exam technique which is crucial for exam preparation.
