I am a Chartered Geographer, aiming to pass on the skills in Geographic Information Systems, GIS technology and software I have acquired during my extensive career in Engineering business (Oil and Gas, Renewables), so that others can develop and apply this knowledge in their studies, research and future careers.

Tutoring Experience

More than 20 years of successful career in Engineering. Many years of tutoring including lecturing at the University of Oxford, tuition of primary and secondary school children, younger colleagues and all interested in my discipline.

Tutoring Approach

As standard I provide an introductory course to GIS and Data Management, covering basic concepts of the discipline, technology and software, all with demonstrations and exercises. Any additional, specific topics could be covered on demand. I practise individual approach based on student needs and areas of interest.
