I am a qualified and experienced Chemistry and Science teacher with over 14 years of teaching experience across KS3 to KS5. I hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England and Full Registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS), and I am a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (MRSC).
My passion lies in helping students unlock their academic potential. I have successfully supported over 2550 students through both classroom and 1:1 tutoring—many of whom have gone on to achieve exceptional exam results. One of my proudest achievements was guiding a student who won a full scholarship to Harvard University in 2012.
In addition to teaching in mainstream and grammar school such as Skegness Academy, Thomas Middlecott Academy, Spalding Grammar School, and Whitesands School, I also work as an online Chemistry tutor and educational consultant.
I have taught across a wide range of UK schools and curricula, including AQA, Edexcel, and OCR, and I also align with the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence. I specialise in:
• GCSE and A-level Chemistry
• General Science (KS3 and KS4)
• IGCSE and Cambridge A-level Science
• Entrance exam coaching and revision support
In the UK, I currently work as a Supply Science Teacher with Vision for Education, delivering lessons in Science and Chemistry across multiple academies. Previously, I held key roles such as Principal at Christabel Private School, Chemistry and form teacher at Whitesands School, and Organic Chemistry teacher at Ascending College (Cambridge A-Level Centre). I also consult and train teachers through Omega Educonsults, an online education platform.
I’ve received advanced training in:
• SEND and inclusive education
• ADHD and Autism classroom strategies
• Safeguarding and Prevent Duty awareness
• Behaviour management and pastoral care
My teaching is student-centred, structured, and goal-oriented. I strive to make Chemistry and Science relatable by linking concepts to real-world applications. Every lesson is crafted to build understanding, boost confidence, and prepare students thoroughly for exams.
✅ Tailored Lessons – I adapt my instruction to suit individual learning needs, including students with SEND or SEMH challenges.
✅ Recorded Sessions – For safeguarding and revision, all 1:1 online lessons are recorded and securely shared.
✅ Engaging Techniques – I use virtual labs, visual aids, past papers, and quizzes to reinforce learning.
✅ Regular Feedback – Students receive consistent, constructive feedback to support ongoing progress.
The various resources at my disposal enable my students to easily revise various topics in chemistry. My ultimate aim is not just to help students achieve top grades, but also to ignite a lasting passion for science.
