I love to learn and experience new things so traveling, reading, and the outdoors are what I take pleasure in doing in my spare time. I learn so much by visiting places with a different cultures than my own and the great outdoors and reading enables me to see the world through another person's eyes.

Tutoring Experience

Having worked in primary schools for the past 2 years, I have a thorough understanding that a tutors role is to not only support pupils but to also support, the curriculum as well as providing additional support individually or in small groups. I have always enjoyed being around young children and have supplemented my interest with various work experience in an educational environment. By working in a school I have gained valuable experience liaising with parents, teachers and support staff. I was successful in building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues in order to effectively meet pupils’ needs. I had the opportunity to deliver a range of classes from phonics lessons to English booster classes. From doing this I developed strong behavioural management skills and discovered different ways of adapting learning to suit individual children’s needs.

Tutoring Approach

I have strong teaching values and believe in identifying and addressing the individual needs of each student and showing students techniques and methodologies to break down problems in a logical way. To ensure a successful outcome for students I focus heavily on helping students with exam technique and terminology.
