I can thoroughly recommend Paul as a tutor. I am a mature student doing mathematics through distance learning and although I don't need ongoing 1:1 tuition, I kept getting stuck on a particular area and thought I would benefit from a one-off session to point me in the right direction. Paul was professional, patient and encouraging. His communication prior to the session was great and he was very punctual, which I appreciated. He showed me the areas that I need to focus on and gave very good advice. Our session was such a big help and I intend to book future sessions with him during the course of my studies. Most importantly, my cats liked him and they are very good judges of character (and I'm sure they were not influenced whatsoever by the treats he kindly brought for them)!
