Phil

Phil is an outstanding tutor and his years of teaching experience are evident. He quickly established a rapport with our daughter and we were immediately impressed by the time he put into assessing her existing knowledge and skills level so that he knew where to focus his efforts. He sends detailed slides and resources each week and goes above and beyond to make sure she has understood the topic covered, staying for longer when necessary. He explains complex topics clearly and has made chemistry much easier to understand for our daughter - she noticed an impact at school very quickly as she was able to follow her lessons more easily. She soon progressed from scoring a C (borderline D) in her first end of semester assessment to a B and an A; she's now predicted to achieve an A in her A level, which has helped her secure offers from her top choices of university. We're delighted with her progress and very grateful to Phil, who I can't recommend highly enough.

Phil has been incredible. He has helped my daughter grow in confidence and has helped support her understanding, as well as develop her skills to be able to do her A-level. Before she started with Phil she would get very frustrated and flustered, but since has learned new ways to overcome a chemistry problem.
