Hi! I'm Phil, a passionate and dedicated tutor who has supported thousands of students through their learning journey in both English Language and Literature. I have had many roles and responsibilities over the years, from coaching new teachers to developing programs of learning using the best educational research, all of which has given me a wide range of skills which I channel into my tutoring sessions.

Having had huge success tutoring students and seeing the impact I was able to make, this year I decided to make tutoring my full time occupation in order to help more people maximise their learning and meet the ever increasing challenges of modern education.

Tutoring Experience

I have worked in education for over twelve years with eight of those as a fully qualified English teacher for both GCSE Language and Literature. I also work as an exam marker and have tutored a wide range of students to help them achieve their learning goals.

Tutoring Approach

I teach online to give the best learning experience that is suitable and flexible to your needs. I have found that tutoring online has all the benefits of tutoring face to face with the added advantage of having a range of learning tools to help maximise your progress. Each lesson is bespoke to you and at the end of every session I provide you with a summary of the lesson content to aid in the next steps for your revision.
