I'm a 24 year old maths graduate from the University of Exeter and am currently studying for a PhD in physics. I achieved a 9 (A*), A* and B in GSCE maths, A-level maths and A-level further maths respectively. I also achieved gold awards in the UKMT maths challenge as well as the award for best in my year.

Tutoring Experience

I have held tutorial sessions for university students, including teaching them university level maths. I have also been involved in coaching roles before for rugby and athletics where I had to coach children and teenagers.

Tutoring Approach

I will aim to improve knowledge of basic concepts and put an emphasis on practice problems to ensure topics are well understood, especially before moving on to more difficult topics which require pre-requisite knowledge. I will also try to make my tutoring as enjoyable as possible since enjoying maths is the best motivation to want to learn it.
