Tutoring Experience

I've developed and run science workshops, demonstrations and outreach events across the UK, working in schools, museums, youth centres and similar. I was a paid demonstrator during my studies, and I have experience as a school science technician.

Tutoring Approach

Science should always be interesting. I prefer an informal, enthusiastic approach that encourages discussion and exploration of ideas, with reference to real-world applications. After presenting to a very wide range of audiences, I'm particularly experienced at breaking complex concepts down for just about any level of understanding.
