French
Born in Paris and now based in England, I understand firsthand the challenges of learning a new language. When I moved to the UK as a child, I had to learn English from scratch—a process that taught me not only the language itself, but also how to learn effectively. Over time, I discovered practical methods and strategies that made the journey smoother and more engaging. Whether you're a complete beginner or preparing for your A-Levels, I’m here to help you build confidence and fluency in French with tried-and-tested techniques tailored to your goals.
Piano
Growing up in a musical family, I began playing piano at the age of four. While I was classically trained, my interest soon expanded into jazz, and by the age of ten I was working through all the jazz grades. This foundation has given me a versatile approach to music, rooted in emotion and expression above all. My teaching style reflects this—focusing not just on technique, but on helping students connect deeply with the music they play. I believe that emotional engagement is what truly elevates a performance, regardless of genre or grade level.
Alongside my performance background, I am also an independent artist, producer, and freelance mix engineer with over eight years of experience and a degree from Bath Spa University. I’ve had the privilege of working with artists such as Katy B, Flux Pavilion, Bkay, Eight9Fly, and Jim Legxacy, which has given me a wide-ranging perspective on the music industry. Whether you're looking to start producing your own tracks, improve your mixing skills, or excel in academic music exams, I provide insights grounded in real-world experience. I can also guide you through the process of releasing music as an independent artist—from creative development and recording to distribution and promotion. With a strong foundation in both professional practice and academic study, I’m here to support you in reaching your goals and thriving in the world of music technology.
For the past five years, I’ve been teaching alongside my academic studies, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to witness my students surpass their own expectations. Seeing them regain confidence and develop a renewed enthusiasm for subjects they once found challenging is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work.
I take a thoughtful and supportive approach with each student, focusing on their individual goals and learning style. Since everyone learns differently and progresses at their own pace, I tailor each lesson to suit the student’s needs—combining structure with flexibility. My aim is to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where students feel confident to grow, explore, and be challenged in a way that’s both manageable and motivating.
