Hi, I’m Rachael and I am an experienced, enthusiastic and patient primary teacher who lives in Norwich. I have a Masters in Education and have a proven record of success in KS1 and KS2.
I have experience teaching across both KS1 and KS2. I have knowledge of early reading- supporting phonetical awareness and confidence all the way up to Year 6 SATs preparation. I hold a senior leadership position in a school and have led curriculum responsibilities such as Maths and English.
I have experience working with students with additional needs. I am aware of the effects that such conditions can have on a child’s confidence and recognise the need to build and instill resilience and a greater self- belief.
I have worked with children where English is a second language, tailoring to the needs of the students.
I like to support students by identifying where additional support is needed and building an individualised plan from there.
I always listen to pupils and their parents, putting people at ease to offer fun and engaging sessions that will lead to greater understanding and success in the classroom.
