Rachael

I am a primary school teacher based in Peterborough with over 10 years of teaching experience. During my career, I have been English lead, Curriculum Lead and Assistant Headteacher. I have an undergraduate degree in English Literature. My favourite subjects to teach are English, Maths and History. Although the majority of my experience is in KS2, I am also happy to tutor KS1 or KS3.

Tutoring Experience

I have worked in all year groups from EYFS to Year 6 and have primarily taught in years 3-6. I have 5 years experience teaching Year 6 and preparing children for their SATs. I have previously tutored children in KS2 English and Maths in Hertfordshire and provided tutoring for 11+ exams.

Tutoring Approach

As a teacher I love to build a positive and supportive rapport with the children in my care. I am a patient, friendly and understanding person. I am confident with trying different teaching techniques and approaches as well as adapting my teaching to the needs of pupils.
