I lived in Spain for eleven years and attended a Spanish school. It is there where I learnt to speak Spanish fluently. I obtained my teaching certificate in July and have been teaching in my current school since June. Prior to this I obtained experience in teaching by volunteering in schools and during my training as a PGCE student.
I have worked as a volunteer teaching Spanish in primary schools, I have worked in various different secondary schools teaching KS3 and 4 Spanish and French. I currently work in a secondary school as a Spanish teacher to which I teach KS3, 4 and 5.
I have an excellent track record of helping my pupils achieve their target grade or beyond at GCSE and A-Level. This year alone I taught twentyseven year 11 pupils which all passed with grades C to A* making it a 100% pass rate. Some pupils excelled their target by making up to 5 levels of progress.
I encourage my students engagement through enthusiam, dedication and creativeness.
I aim to make my lessons fun and suitable for all learners needs.I am genuinely passionate about ensuring people fulfill their potential. I firmly believe that everyone is equally capable of speaking a foreign language well provided that they are given consistent encouragement and support. I cultivate spoken fluency and confidence by building a deep understanding of grammar and challenging students to learn vocabulary and idioms.
