I am a friendly and enthusiastic full time maths teacher, GCSE examiner and lead practitioner with over 15 years experience. I am a supportive and approachable teacher who aims to increase students confidence in maths to help them improve their results. I have an honours degree in mathematics & statistics and a PGCE in secondary maths.
I teach KS3, GCSE and A-level maths. I have tutored a variety of students from primary level all the way up to degree. I specialise in GCSE, having taught students of all abilities.
I am currently teaching GCSE and Alevel maths for AQA but can prepare students for any exam board. Teaching full time means I am up to date on the new GCSE scheme of work including new topics that have moved to GCSE and new ways in which questions are asked in the papers.
I am very supportive and work with students to ensure they get the most out of the sessions.
I can be flexible with how you want to sessions to work, whether it be preparing for exams or working through key concepts that they have struggled to grasp in lessons. I encourage students to bring along questions, homeworks and exam questions which they need help with. I am very flexible so encourage students to contact me at any time.
