Richard is teaching myself and my friend on a weekly basis. We are both beginners. We are both very happy with the way Richard is teaching us. We do a bit of simple but useful conversation followed with a bit of grammar.

Richard is a fist class Latin teacher and has provided excellent Latin tutoring for my 2 children aged 12 and 14. They followed the Cambridge Latin course, but Richard supplemented this with many of his own techniques for learning key grammar, which simplified the learning and made it easier to undertstand. In particular, he focused on:

- clear explanations of new grammar by bullet points
- strengthening the foundations - ie. the first 3 declensions and the 4 conjugations
- condensing common errors into 5 key areas encapsulated in 5 Golden Rules to help the students to be self-analytical

Richard is a very personable and reliable tutor and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend him.
