I am a friendly and approachable teacher who enjoys teaching students of all ages and abilities. I love being able to help others to be better at maths and believe anyone can do maths if it is explained well and pitched at the correct level.

Tutoring Experience

I am a secondary school teacher with over 20 years experience. I have taught in a range of schools preparing students for both GCSE and A Level exams. I have also tutored many pupils ranging from primary school up to adults. Whatever your current level of maths I feel confident I can help you to improve and gain in confidence along the way.

Tutoring Approach

I aim to put students at ease. I break lessons down into lots of small chunks and ensure students understand at each stage before moving on. I allow plenty of time for students to practice new skills as well as revisiting topics several times to ensure they are fully embedded. Lessons are not only for those studying for KS2 SATS, GCSEs or A Level but for anyone who wants to improve their current level of maths.
