Robert

I graduated with a degree in English language & literature from Oxford University in 2016, and since then have been tutoring students of all levels from around the world.

Literature is my passion, and I love to pass on my curiosity and enthusiasm to students. I especially enjoy surrealist and magic realist fiction, and a few of my favourite writers include Robert Twigger, Eva Baltasar and Italo Calvino.

I specialise in English language and literature, and have spent the last eight years helping students achieve academic success, including those seeking admission to the UK’s best schools and universities.

My students consistently achieve well beyond their predicted grades, and have gained admission to top UK schools and universities.

I also specialise in Oxbridge admissions. Having studied English language & literature at Oxford, I know the pressures and concerns that come with applying. I can help students to understand the application process and maximise their chances of success, from the personal statement through to the interview stage.

Tutoring Approach

In my lessons you will gain the confidence to write and analyse independently, so that you can approach your next exam, essay, or creative writing task knowing exactly what to do. Lessons are tailored to your needs, and I will help you set out a long-term plan for your learning success.

Lessons are 1-2 hours long, and I teach every age level and exam board from primary to adult. I also have extensive experience working with SEN students.
