I am a Physics teacher with over 10 years experience. I am lucky enough to really enjoy what I do as Physics is also my biggest interest when not teaching. This makes me very enthusiastic about the subject which really helps students understand it and get engaged. I am based in Edinburgh but can also tutor in West Lothian.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught National 5 and Higher Physics for over 10 years and advanced higher for the last 4 years.

I also mark exams for the SQA, having marked the National 5 and Higher exam papers and their assignments. Due to this I understand very well how the exams work.

Tutoring Approach

I am a very easy going approachable teacher and I always try and find the simplest way to explain a topic.

I like to start with the fundamentals of a topic, then build up through a range of questions of increasing difficulty, before completing past paper questions. I will try and tailor the questions to your interests to help improve enjoyment and understanding which always leads to better results.
