Over 1000 hours of tutoring experience

I am a Biomedical Science graduate and a current medical student. I have 6 years of tutoring experience teaching science subjects from GCSE level to A-Level and UCAT preparation. I have 3 years of experience preparing students for 11+ and recently 7+ entrance exams and creating summer study programmes for students.
In 2022, I helped 80% of my students secure an offer from their first-choice secondary school.

My background in Science enables me to help tutor students who are struggling with the science component of their education. Whether the subject is science, basic study skills, or university application, I break material down into easy-to-understand concepts.

I am familiar with different revision techniques, exam techniques and methods to help simplify complex information. I believe that all students can meet and/or surpass expectations of themselves with the right push.

Tutoring Experience

2017-2019 - Face to face tutor
I have taught in East London and in Essex as GCSE Science tutor (all exam boards) and A-Level Biology and Chemistry tutor (all exam boards)
ages 15-18, I also helped with UCAS application preparation for those who needed it

2020-present
As an online and face-to-face tutor, I teach KS3 Science (ages 12-14), GCSE Science and A-Level Biology and Chemistry. I also offer 11plus tuition.
I offered detailed tuition (homeschooling style, teaching the students the topics from scratch) and supplementary tuition/ homework help

I volunteered as a tutor in 2021 helping GCSE and A-Level students catch up on missed sessions due to the pandemic

Tutoring Approach

I believe that each student is individual and require an approach that is suitable for them, therefore I am very flexible in my teaching. My aim is that my students can understand, apply, retain, and use relevant information allowing them to reach their full potential in class and during exams
