I am the current Director of English in a Lancashire secondary school; I have a Bachelor’s degree in English and a PGCE in Secondary English and over 10 years of teaching/tutoring experience. In addition, I am an examiner at both AQA and Eduqas. My students consistently achieve outstanding grades in their GCSEs.

Tutoring Approach

After gauging the level of the student based on an initial benchmark test, I will give each student a target, which will be assessed both through summative and formative assessments. Lessons will be tailored to the learner's individual needs to assist them in reaching their potential.
