I am a highly experienced and qualified science educator with over 13 years in the field, combining my background as a Biomedical Scientist with extensive classroom and one-to-one tutoring expertise. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS – Outstanding), and I’ve worked across mainstream education, targeted intervention, and academic coaching.
My approach is rigorous yet supportive, and I specialise in helping students of all abilities—including high performers and neurodivergent learners—achieve meaningful progress and academic confidence. I bring deep subject knowledge, strong emotional intelligence, and a commitment to personalised teaching that inspires curiosity and clarity.
Many of my students are aiming for top GCSE results, preparing for sixth-form science pathways, or overcoming challenges such as ADHD, autism, or dyslexia. I am particularly skilled at building strong, trusting relationships with students and providing the structure, insight, and strategies they need to succeed.
I’ve been immersed in science education and support since 2010, with experience as a Biomedical Scientist, qualified science teacher, academic coach, and neurodiversity specialist. I bring both scientific expertise and teaching know-how to every session.
I’ve held roles as:
Biomedical Scientist – bringing real-world science insight into my teaching
Science Tutor & Academic Coach (Freelance + Sunbeam Education, 2023–Present)
Secondary Science Teacher (Bordesley Multi Academy Trust, 2016–Present)
Targeted Intervention Teacher (Waverley Education Foundation, 2014–2016)
My tutoring is designed to make science relatable, engaging, and manageable. Whether you need to improve exam technique, rebuild confidence, or learn in a neurodivergent-friendly way, I tailor every session to suit your learning style and goals.
