Sabine's Feedback

I have been working with Sabine for a month now with extra support on English grammar for an online TEFL course I am undertaking. I am immensely impressed by her work during the classes, she over plans and is able to be flexible and change her plans according to questions or student requirements. She has solutions and activities and explains the facts and context of the subject clearly and concisely. She is supportive, encouraging and warm. I'm very happy and grateful to have found a tutor, locally, who is as experienced, brilliant at her work, and professional as Sabine is. I can recommend her as a tutor, 100 percent!

Sabine has proved to be an excellent tutor for our daughter. She is always prompt, very courteous and calm, and makes the best of the time available. She makes the sessions fun and informative, and has excellent teaching and communication skills. Thank you Sabine!

Sabine I believe would be an excellent tutor. She is engaging, bright and focused. However, I believe she misunderstands the process of ‘tutor websites’. Having ascertained that she has availability on days my son could be tutored we arranged a free home visit. This was not free to me as I was obliged to pay First Tutors fees. I accepted that if Sabine and my son did not get on that I would forego my fee. I was very impressed with Sabine and felt she would be a very good tutor for my son. However, she declined taking him on because of lack of availability- remember I had ascertained availability prior to arranging the visit and paying the fee. So I was not impressed with the way in which she dealt with matters. However, I do truly believe that any child she tutored would succeed.

I have nothing but praise for Sabine. Punctual, smart but mostly for her professional qualities. She was able to engage with my son immediately and hold his attention throughout the sessions.
His confidence going in to his English re-take was very high, a huge contrast to the first time!
I thank her for her tutoring and would thoroughly recommend her to anyone else.

My daughter asked for extra help for her upcoming GCSE. Sabine engages her and gives constructive feedback and exam tips to improve her writing. My daughter has found this helpful and feels more confident as a result.
