Safiyah

Hello! My name is Safiyah, and I am a dedicated and passionate tutor who is 21 years old. I am currently pursuing a Chartered Business Management Degree Apprenticeship and am on track to achieve First-Class Honours, reflecting my commitment to academic excellence and a deep understanding of business principles.

I want to teach because I believe in the transformative power of education. Helping students grasp complex concepts and witness their progress is incredibly rewarding. Throughout my educational journey, I have had the privilege of tutoring multiple students, guiding them through their academic challenges and celebrating their successes. My experiences have shown me the impact that personalized support can have on a learner’s confidence and motivation.

Tutoring Experience

I've had some informal teaching experience. During secondary school and college, I tutored younger students, helping them with subjects they found difficult. I also helped my three younger siblings with their homework, especially my sister who has learning difficulties, so I learned to adapt my approach to suit different needs.

Now, I offer online tutoring in business management, covering primary level to A-level students. This has given me a wider range of experience, from structuring lessons to making complex topics more understandable for students at different levels.

Tutoring Approach

I employ a variety of teaching techniques, including interactive discussions, practical examples, and real-world applications of business concepts. I believe in breaking down complex topics into manageable parts, making them more accessible and relatable.

Typically, lessons are one hour long, allowing ample time for instruction, practice, and questions. I encourage active participation and dialogue to ensure that students fully grasp the material.
