Current Tutoring Summary:
Having tutored in the past, I am now a recent graduate from Durham university (Upper second class degree) and now working towards the ACA qualification at one of the Big Four Accountancy firms.

Prior Tutoring Summary:
I'm an enthusiastic and well driven individual. This has helped me achieve top grades in subjects that I studied for A-Level, this Involved an A* in Maths, A in Economics, A in Physics and an A in Further Maths. This said, work isn't all I enjoy, I am a passionate rugby player, having played for Millfield School on a number of occasions, I've really learn't leadership skills as well as communicational skills. Snow skiing, water sports and Golf, are among a few sport a also play. I really enjoy watching other people learn and succeed, and teaching is a real opportunity to do this.

Tutoring Experience

During my time at school and University I have often been asked to explain ideas to fellow peers. I can relate to the position they're in, and once i've explained everything there is often no trouble and they soon understand the topic. I have a younger sister who has just completed her GCSE's, I've often helped explain things to her, which has allowed me to remain on top of the curriculum. I have also had a couple of tutoring done to myself, and therefore understand the structure and layout of the lessons.

Tutoring Approach

I really try and get down to the fundamental ideas of a topic, this allows the individual to really grasp the knowledge when the topic becomes more in depth. I am driven by others being able to understand ideas that, at one stage In my own life, i couldn't understand. Through repetition and hard work I managed to understand some tough topics, through this, I know how to explain things in a different light as sometimes things can become overwhelming. Success in exam isn't down to how good you are at cramming at the last minute, its about little and often, starting from now.
