Sam is an excellent tutor, with a kind nature and great approach to both, student and parents.
After couple of months with Sam, my son (currently in 6th form and aspiring for Uni) improved his attitude to learning, his grades, and achieved AA in his Mocks (Maths and Computer Science).
Communication with Sam is always easy and he is very flexible. I am so happy, we found him.

Excellent Tutor

Sam tutored my daughter for 2 years and helped her achieve a grade A at A Level maths. She found him to be an excellent tutor, always helpful and very professional. His help was very much appreciated and we would recommend him.

Sam has helped massively with my son’s maths and computer. He is friendly, knowledgeable, punctual and very organised. We have complete faith in his ability to push our son on and increase his confidence in his maths and computer science. I would highly recommend him as a tutor.

Thank you, Sam, for the superb tuition you gave to my son, Tom, for A-level physics. You knew the course inside out and were able to help Tom grasp all the trickier bits. In the few months he spent with you his confidence grew enormously. He really valued your patient explanation, in-depth knowledge and advice on what to expect in the exam.
Everyone found the final exam (practical) difficult, but Tom says he found it easier than most, including several of his friends who have Oxbridge offers. We'll let you know the result when it comes, of course, but for now thank you for making a critical difference at a crucial time.

Sam has been so helpful for me. He's got my grades up and has made the learning much more enjoyable, even encouraging me to come home and do extra work as i now enjoy the subjects! Sam's been a huge help.

Sam has been of immense help in helping my daughter overcome with both Physics and Maths in the past year, after contacting him to address her initial difficulties with Physics. His knowledge of the course specifications on both these topics is very thorough and his patience and delivery of his knowledge has been superb.

I have been particularly impressed with his compilations of past papers' questions and marking schemes that he has sent through between sessions, on AS topics on which my daughter needed more practice.

We will be continuing to use Sam's expertise next year and cannot recommend him highly enough.

He is an excellent tutor. We are very pleased that we found him when we did. He quickly identified the gap in understanding in Physics (AS), worked through it clearly and helped him to regain his confidence and make progress again. He is also very friendly and creates a positive and relaxing atmosphere for students.

Sam has fulfilled and exceeded all my expectations for tutoring my son. As far as my son's feedback, Theo not only enjoys his sessions with Sam, he looks forward to them and Theo's increase in his knowledge of physics has enabled him to sit his exams with confidence and so achieve his full potential.

Early days yet, but Sam has an excellent knowledge of the subject, a good understanding of the exam, and has formed a good working relationship with my son.

Harriet is responding well to Sam's tuition in AS Maths. He goes through many useful methods of solving equations and supports Harriet when she is finding topics difficult at school.

Sam has made an excellent start with my daughter's maths tuition and after just 3 lessons she feels more confident. He is so approachable and explains everything in various ways until they find a method that suits her. She feels so much happier about this subject already and really finds Sam friendly and easy to talk to. We are very glad to have found him !

Sam has been really great with my son. He loves going and seems to be making progress even though it's early days yet. My son has some learning difficulties and Sam has developed a really good rapport with him and is pitching the lessons at a level he can cope with. He's even doing his homework!!

It's pretty early days but our son seems to find the sessions very useful and seems to react well to Sam's open style.
We're very pleased and I hope that the fact that we've asked him to do extra sessions says something about the faith we have in Sam.

My son has just started tuition with Sam but has found him to be absolutely superb-really clear at explaining concepts and brings the subject alive… My son says he is the best maths tutor he has had.He is extremely reliable.

My son has been having weekly tutorials with Sam for a couple of months, to help him with AS Level Physics. It's early days but his schoolwork and tests show a marked improvement and he is much more confident with the work now. He particularly appreciates the fact that Sam explains everything to him so that he understands the topics, rather than just being coached to pass exams. Although these are the acid test - and we await his results after the January exams with anticipation. I'm sure his marks will have improved dramatically.

My son has had approximately 5 sessions with Sam and has found them very useful. He has just sat his resits and belives that he has done better than his oriiginal ones - time will tell!

Sam has engaged very well with my son - he has very quickly worked out what help my son needs and started on a programe with him to prepare him for his exam. My son likes going to his sessions with Sam - he finds him very helpful and easy to work with. Sam is very clear in his explanations, enabling my son to understand concepts which he was struggilng with before. I have nothing but good things to say about Sam - so much so that we have asked for a second session each week to work on Physics as well as the Maths.
