I am an outstanding Teacher, Lecturer, Tutor and AQA Alevel examiner with over 12 years experience achieving outstanding outcomes for learners working at Level 2 (GCSE), to Postgraduate level courses.

Tutoring Experience

I have over 12 year teaching and 5 years private tutoring where I have achieved outstanding results and outcomes. I have designed, lectured, assessed and tutored on undergraduate programmes in Psychology which enables me to have advanced subject expertise. I have also taught Alevel at the outstanding college BHASVIC where I have supported learners in achieving some of the best outcomes and best value added in the country. I have consistently demonstrated 100 percent pass rate with 70 percent A* to B and students achieving on average half a grade above their prediction at college. 100 percent of my tutees have achieved an A grade at Psychology Alevel. I am a highly experience AQA examiner which gives me invaluable insight into exam technique and i am able to coach and train students to become skilled examiners themselves to enable them to achieve highly in their assessments.

Tutoring Approach

I prioritise a personalised approach for every learner as every learner's interests, needs and abilities will differ. I am so passionate about my subject that I want to facilitate and extend learning beyond the requirements of the qualification and assessment to benefit the learners own understanding of the subject area, of themselves and psychology as applied to the world around them with the aim to enhance their personal skills, qualities and wellbeing. I coach learners to become independent, reflective, resilient and confident individuals who can self assess their own competencies. I also aim to enable each learner to use their learning to explore the next stage In their academic or professional career. As an experienced examiner I can focus on the skills and strategies which enable students to achieve beyond expectation as i adopt an informed approach to assessment and exam technique.
