Achieved 3 offers for medical school, at University of Birmingham, Newcastle University and University of St Andrews.

GCSEs 5x 9, 3x 8 and 1x 7

I also offer medical school interview practice and application advice.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience working with children of all ages. As a head boy and student mentor in state school, I regularly worked with and engaged with students across all secondary school years. Through these roles, I helped students with a variety of queries, from revision to staff meetings. This has given me invaluable insight, allowing me to tailor my approach to best fit each individual student’s needs and concerns. As a qualified LTA tennis coach, I am also used to working with children of all ages.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching style is characterised by a friendly and supportive atmosphere, where students feel comfortable asking questions and seeking clarification. I believe in adapting my approach to suit the individual learning styles and abilities of my students. By identifying your strengths and weaknesses, I can tailor lessons and exercises accordingly, ensuring optimal progress and understanding.

I also believe in collaboration during my lessons, where the student and I can discuss the subject to an appropriate depth. By doing so I hope to nurture a real passion for the topic, which I believe is fundamental to academic development.
