As a Mathematics with Statistics graduate, I bring a strong analytical background and a passion for problem-solving to my tutoring. Beyond academics, I am deeply committed to fitness, attending the gym daily and actively participating in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. In addition to my love for numbers, I have pursued dance internationally, competing in various competitions around the world. This diverse background has helped me develop a disciplined, focused and adaptable approach, which I now channel into tutoring. I have discovered a passion for helping others learn and grow, and I am eager to share my knowledge and experience to support students in reaching their full potential.

Tutoring Experience

During my time at university, I tutored KS3 and GCSE Maths, helping students grasp challenging concepts and improve their confidence in the subject. This experience allowed me to develop effective teaching strategies tailored to individual learning needs. Additionally, I volunteered at a primary school, where I worked closely with younger students, breaking down mathematical concepts into simpler, more digestible parts to foster understanding at an early age. Beyond academics, I opened my own dance class and taught after-school clubs, as well as weekly classes for people of all ages. This experience enhanced my ability to engage with diverse learners, adapt my teaching style, and communicate complex ideas in an accessible way. These combined experiences have honed my ability to be a patient, understanding, and adaptable tutor.

My tutoring approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into simple, manageable points, making learning accessible and less overwhelming. I begin with an initial assessment to evaluate the student's current understanding and identify areas that need improvement. From there, I tailor each lesson to their specific needs, ensuring the material is presented in a way that aligns with their learning style. I maintain open communication throughout each session, encouraging students to ask as many questions as they need. I create a comfortable and supportive environment where students feel confident to engage, ensuring they never feel hesitant to seek clarification. This approach helps build their understanding and self-confidence step by step.
