I am a full-time student.
I have experience teaching all ages both in a professional setting as well as on a one to one basis. I have taught booster sessions for Maths at Primary, KS3, GCSE and A Level stages and have tutored Maths privately since 2021.
I help students reach their full potential by ensuring that they strengthen their weaknesses and, after exploring various techniques, arrive at the solution in a manner they feel most confident in.
I begin with assessing where the student is, mapping their strengths and weaknesses. I then focus on helping the student through these weaknesses or any gaps in their understanding. Within mathematics, there are numerous ways to reach the same solution, so I explore this with the student and allow them to discover which method they are most confident in. This can only be achieved on a foundation of full knowledge and building on it with practice.
