Hello, my name is Sarah and I’m from England. I absolutely love learning and teaching languages! I have taught English in the UK, France and Spain (as well as online), and I spent 3 years teaching French and Spanish at a secondary school in Manchester, England. I want to see as much of the world as possible, and I am currently travelling around Southeast Asia. In my spare time I really like to read, run and learn Italian!
I have nearly 6 years of teaching experience. I am TEFL Certified, which has allowed me to teach in schools, language centres, summer camps and online in 3 countries. In addition, in 2021 I obtained my PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status in the UK, where I taught KS3 and GCSE French and Spanish at a highly reputable secondary school for 4 years including my training.
My favourite way to teach is through engaging conversation and games that are tailored to the student’s interests and abilities, in order to keep the learning fun and therefore more effective.
For English learners and casual learners of French or Spanish, I use my own robust course structure (A1-C2) to help guide students like yourself through the exciting process of learning! For GCSE students, I use a range of resources based on your school’s chosen syllabus.
I create Google folders for each of my student’s lessons, resources and homework tasks based on my course structure and a range of immersive and authentic resources.
