I am a highly motivated and experienced KS1 and lower KS2 teacher. I enjoy seeing children reach their full potential and develop to become more resilient and confident learners through high quality teaching and by offering lots of positive encouragement.

Tutoring Experience

I qualified as a primary school teacher in 2002 and have taught in all year groups from reception up to year 6. I currently work part-time in an independent school in Cambridge. I have run interventions to boost pupil progress in several schools in Bishop’s Stortford.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is to assess where pupils are at and identify any gaps learning. I will then set targets and focus on teaching these areas and then review. I work hard to make learning fun and engaging where possible tapping into children's interests. I offer sessions to KS1 and lower KS2 children in phonics, comprehension, writing and maths.

Availability:
I am available to teach weekly and can also offer sessions during the Summer Holidays.
