I am a 4th-year biochemical engineering student at UCL, pursuing an integrated master's degree with a strong foundation in biology, chemistry, and analytics. I love tutoring because it allows me to share my enthusiasm for these subjects and help students find excitement in learning. I specialise in making complex concepts understandable and relevant, often drawing from my experience in areas like vaccine development and bioprocess engineering to create engaging lessons.

Tutoring Experience

I have over 5 years of tutoring experience, specializing in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths at the GCSE level, as well as A-level Biology. I also provide tutoring for primary, secondary, and 11+ examinations. My experience includes working with diverse learners, including students with SEND such as Autism and ADHD. I am skilled at adapting my teaching methods to meet each student's unique needs and learning styles, fostering an engaging and supportive environment.

I hold an enhanced DBS certificate and am dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and inspiring space for all my students.

Tutoring Approach

I use a visual teaching strategy to break down complex concepts into manageable parts, making them easier to understand. My approach is flexible, adapting to each student's unique needs by incorporating analogies and visual comparisons to aid comprehension.

I structure my sessions around the curriculum, using checklists to ensure all content is covered, and supplement theory with extensive exam practice. I utilise my iPad to create and organise notes and diagrams during sessions, which I share with students afterwards to reinforce learning.
